  • How Long Does Propane Last?

    If your tank is appropriately sized for your usage, rule of thumb is generally two propane tank refills per year for non-heating applications. You may require more frequent tank refills if you're using propane as your main heat source plus auxiliary applications like a fireplace or stove. Keep in mind, the length of time may also depend on the size of your home, how many appliances run on propane, your indoor temperature setting if using as a main heat source, and outdoor temperatures to name a few factors. It’s essential to monitor usage and schedule timely refills to avoid running out of propane. 
  • Can I Get Propane Delivery on a Regular Schedule?

    When you are on Will Call you must contact us to place your propane order, ideally when your tank level reaches 30% to ensure enough propane is available while we prepare and deliver your propane order. If you are enrolled for Automatic Deliveries, we take care of everything; our delivery team monitors your tank levels and starts working on your order when needed, ensuring you always have an adequate propane supply.   • What propane tank size do I need?

    Whether you use propane for heating, cooking, power generation, among other applications, choosing the right propane tank size depends on your needs, including the size of your home if used for heating, the area where you are located, which and how many appliances you're fueling, etc. For residential setups, our experts will guide you in selecting the ideal tank size based on your household's propane usage, and will install the correct tank size to ensure your home’s energy needs are satisfied. † All  Superior Propane’s SMART Tank bulk delivery residential customers enrolled in Superior Propane’s automatic delivery program are eligible for The No-Run-Out Guarantee Program (the “Program”) except for Customers (i) who rent only a single 420 lb. Cylinder or 123 USWG tank; (ii) with premises on water access or seasonal road access; and (iii) with tanks or cylinders that are attached to standby generators. If (i) the customer replaces Superior Propane’s SMART Tank(s) with other equipment; (ii) the customer fails to pay for propane within the agreed upon payment period and the customer’s account is no longer in good standing; (iii) delivery of propane by Superior Propane is prevented by a force majeure event including but not limited to the act of God, strike, flood, fire, inclement weather, embargo, insurrection, unavoidable accident, shortage of labour or material, government decree or any other cause reasonably beyond its control including, but not limited to, shortage of propane, then the Program shall immediately become null and void and of no effect as if the Program had never taken place. In the event of shortages resulting from a force majeure event, Superior Propane reserves the right to allocate supply as it deems necessary, in its sole discretion, amongst its customers, itself and its subsidiaries, or; if actions taken by the customer are determined by Superior Propane, in its sole discretion, to have been the cause of or substantially contributed to the propane run out situation. The Program has no predetermined termination date and will continue until such time that Superior Propane may, without notice, terminate the Program.

‡This offer is subject to additional terms, conditions, and eligibility requirements (including minimum expected annual consumption of at least 1,500 litres). To accept the offer, eligible customers must enter into a General Retail Agreement with a five-year initial service term, subject to early termination fees as set out in the offer terms and conditions.
