Energy Assistance

To further assist our customers in saving money, we have sourced a number of energy rebates and incentives available for both homes and businesses that qualify. Bookmark this section, as we'll continue to add new programs as we learn about them. Complete details for each of these programs is provided in the website links in the right column.

Federal Programs

ecoENERGY Retrofit Program. Qualify for a grant of up to $790 off of a high-efficiency furnace through Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCan) ecoENERGY Retrofit program. Only homeowners who booked a pre-retrofit evaluation by March 31, 2010, can receive an ecoENERGY Retrofit – Homes grant. Homeowners must complete your energy retrofits and receive your post-retrofit evaluation by March 31, 2011, or within 18 months of your pre-retrofit evaluation report, whichever comes first.

NRCan’s Office of Energy Efficiency also advises on how to reduce your energy use, cut greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change, and save money at home, at work and on the road.
